    Meeting with 7th Central Pay Commission on 24th August, 2014

    The Association under the leadership of Sri. N.Bhaskaran, founder Secretary and Permanent Advisor to the Association presented its views before the 7th Central Pay Commission in the oral hearing on 24th August, 2014 at Bangalore on several issues concerning Pensioners. Emphasis was laid on core issues like quantum of pension, family pension, age-related additional pension, complete parity in pension, health care, extension of CGHS facilities to pensioners of Autonomous bodies and treating BSNL pensioners as Central Government Pensioners. The response of the Pay Commission was positive and encouraging on many issues. Details appear in our monthly journal “Pensioners’ Champion” August, 2014 issue.
